Minted is a design marketplace that works to source creative content from a global community of independent artists. The company then sells the best content in the form of art, home décor, and stationery, directly to consumers.
The late-stage startup is based in San Francisco and was founded in 2007 by CEO Mariam Naficy. The company's core competencies are mobilizing and activating creative people, and enabling them to monetize their art by identifying industries and products where their art is most interesting to consumers. Minted, in turn, uses technology to allow consumers to discover great creative talent, making the retail website a place where artists can learn, gain exposure, and build their businesses.
Recruiters are currently seeking creative thinkers who are passionate about art and design, curious about the world of e-commerce, wholesale and retail merchandising, and have strong analytical and quantitative skills to join their merchandising team. This group is responsible for driving sales by working closely with design submissions from Minted's talented community of artists, as well as data from its analytics team, to bring forth a balanced assortment of the freshest designs to inspire customers. This team is also responsible for ensuring the shopping experience in their category is seamless, and the quality of designs rendered on the site flawless, to ensure the best customer experience possible.
