  • Registration Required

Are you fascinated by the world around you? Do you like asking questions and finding creative ways to learn their solutions? Are you into exploring new ideas no one has thought of before? Do you look smashing in a lab coat, business suit, dive suit and/or protective goggles?

Join Dr. Carolyn Margolin, Loeb Center science and technology career advisor, as she discusses the range of opportunities in the scientific fields and how Amherst students can best prepare. Regardless of experience level, attendees will leave this session with an understanding of:
· potential career trajectories
· industry timelines for internships and jobs, and
· Loeb Center resources designed to support your search

Though this introductory presentation was designed primarily for first-years and sophomores, all class years and majors are welcome to attend. Feel free to come with questions for the Q&A portion of the session.

This "Intro to Careers in..." series is presented by Amherst College's Loeb Center for Career Exploration and Planning. Learn more about our resources by visiting us online: amherst.edu/campuslife/careers.
