A Day of Art at Amherst is a campus-wide celebration of the Amherst College community’s ability to create and enjoy art in person. Art activations will take place at pop-up sites around campus. Activities include creative writing workshops, dance classes, drawing sessions, embodied art exercises, live music, mural making, a silkscreen station and more! Amherst College students, faculty and staff are invited to drop into any of the events throughout the day. This program is organized by the Mead Art Museum and Book & Plow Farm in partnership with the Arts at Amherst Initiative, the Beneski Museum, The Common, the Office of Communications, Frost Library, Health Education, the Loeb Center, the Meiklejohn Fellows Program, the Multicultural Resource Center, the Department of Music, Paper City Clothing, the Poetry Club, Religious Life, the Science Center, Student Activities, the Department of Theater and Dance, and the Queer Resource Center.
