Amherst College's 19-Point Anti-Racism Plan includes an invitation for us to "reimagine policing” on campus. With that opportunity in mind, the Center for Restorative Practices (CRP) is hosting a semester-long series of Restorative Circles. The CRP seeks to bridge contemporary divides by creating a space for us to sit with one another, probe polarizing positions, ask hard questions and listen to personal stories in order to seek innovative answers brought about through active listening in community. The voices, ideas and suggested action steps are recorded and brought to the campus safety advisory committee who are tasked to gather information in a variety of ways and offer what they find to the college president and trustees.

Please come. Your place is being held in the circle.
