Events & Calendars "Discussing DALL-E: The Impact of AI on Art"

We're making HISTORY! The Artificial Intelligence in the Liberal Arts initiative is bringing you Amherst College's FIRST AI-generated art exhibition. When prompted with descriptions of real artwork within the Mead’s collection, how close will an artificially-generated image be to the genuine thing? There will also be a Q&A discussion panel featuring professors from the art and computer science departments. We'll answer questions like: "Is DALL-E an artist?" and "Could this affect the art industry?" The event will be catered with food from Fresh Side and boba from LimeRed. We hope to see you there!
