An Interterm Course for Sophomores & Juniors
Hosted by The Loeb Center & Traub Careers in Business and Finance program

Join Stephanie Hockman and Jack Trent ’23 for a 5-day INTENSIVE workshop to hone your financial acumen and master practical skills to ace interviews for investment banking, sales & trading, buy or sell-side research, and private investing.

Register by December 15. Plan to attend ALL sessions. This program will be held ON CAMPUS so request residential accommodations during this period.

You must bring a laptop; PCs are preferred. One can be provided, if necessary.

SCHEDULE

Preparation:
In late December you will be given assigned learning that must be completed by January 24, 2023. If not already registered, you will be enrolled in the Adventis Financial Modeling online portal and must complete online videos and work prior to the start of the workshop.

January 25, 9am – 5pm:
Financial Accounting (how to read financial statements, 10-Ks and 10-Qs); differentiating enterprise vs. equity value

January 26, 9am – 5pm:
How to value a company including comprehending valuation methods and creating a stock pitch

January 27, 9am – 5pm:
Mastering finance recruiting—networking, creating your personal brand, acing the fit/behavior questions and conquering technical interviews

January 28, 9am – 6pm:
Adventis Boot Camp

January 29, 9am – 5pm:
Stock Pitches & Mock Interviews
