Tackling Interview Questions
Hosted by the Charles Hamilton Houston Internship Program

Interviewing can be intimidating. Even though each person is the expert on their own experience, responding to an interview question on the spot can make someone draw a blank, ramble, or only say what they think the interviewer wants to hear.

How might you build confidence in effectively telling stories that illustrate your strengths, accomplishments, and professional values? In this workshop, participants will learn about common interview question themes, how to strategize answers, and how to craft stories using the STAR method, which can be used to answer multiple types of questions in order to build skills towards authentic interviewing.

This workshop will also fulfill the Internship Preparation Workshop requirement for Charles Hamilton Houston Internship Program enrollment. Learn more about the Loeb Center's Charles Hamilton Houston Internship Program here: https://www.amherst.edu/mm/575805.
