Join Amherst College alumni and friends for a conversation on the “good life” with Marc Schulz ’84, award-winning professor and a co-author of the New York Times bestselling book The Good Life: Lessons from the Longest Scientific Study of Happiness.
Dr. Schulz will highlight research findings from the Harvard Study of Adult Development, which has closely followed individuals from over 700 families from adolescence all the way to the end of their lives and now follows more than 1,300 children of the original participants. Building on his book, Dr. Schulz will talk about why relationships are a key foundation of the “good life,” emphasizing steps that individuals can take to improve their relationship health and happiness.
