In partnership with Holyoke Community College (HCC), Amherst faculty members are offering credit-bearing courses and book groups at two local jails. The program is expanding, and more faculty are needed to teach. On Tuesday, March 28, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the Black Studies Reading Room in Cooper House, professors from Amherst and HCC will discuss their work at jails and prisons and describe a range of ways for faculty to get involved.
