Science Center, Kirkpatrick Lecture Hall (Room A011)

Have you ever wondered how science stays sustainable? Are you curious about the jobs in STEM that happen outside of the lab?

Join us as Stephanie Madsen '90 returns to campus to talk about her path from Amherst to grad school and then into the worlds of education and sustainability. Stephanie serves as the Sustainability Coordinator at one of the world's leading marine research labs, The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. She will be sharing information about her current role, the path that led her there, as well as her education and DEI-related programs, which have opportunities for student involvement.
