Join staff members from Amherst College's Investment Office to learn about full-time employment and summer internship opportunities for Summer 2024 in Boston. A great introduction to how endowments work, what makes Amherst special, and how you might gain real-world experience in the areas of finance and investments while supporting one of the College's enduring resources.
Please note, students from *all majors* are welcome to attend and apply; no experience necessary. Training will be provided, and no preference will be given to those with finance-related backgrounds.
The team is looking to hire a full-time analyst from the class of 2024 to join the endowment team for a Summer 2024 start date. In addition, the team is looking to hire a class of summer interns, for a Summer 2024 start date. The internship is targeted at sophomores, although first years and juniors may also apply.
Panelists include Letitia Johnson, Chief Investment Officer of Amherst College. Prior to joining the College in 2019, Letitia worked at Cambridge Associates, where she partnered with endowment and foundation clients to invest their long-term assets, including developing strategy, selecting and diligencing managers, and formulating investment and spending policies. She has an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA in Mathematics from Brown University.
