Have you ever wondered what it means to have a career in finance, consulting, or general business? Whether you are a first-year student seeking a broad understanding of business and finance, a sophomore wanting a deeper exploration into the finance industry or are curious about what a consultant does, or a junior exploring new opportunities, this is a great way to learn, discover, and decide if finance, consulting, or business (e.g. project management, business analyst, rotational programs) is right for you.

The Loeb Center offers industry-specific initiatives to help students explore and plan for careers in various fields. The Business and Finance Program was established in 2015 to help students explore and prepare for careers in the financial services industry, consulting, or general business.

This information session will be led by Stephanie Hockman, the Program Director, and will include insights from Lucas Romualdo ‘24 (Finance intern) and Erxi Lu ‘24 (Consulting intern). During the session, you’ll gain a better understanding of what it means to work in business, finance, and consulting. You'll learn about the programs that are offered to help you explore and prepare for careers in business, finance, and consulting, including workshops and experiential learning opportunities. Additionally, you'll learn how best to take advantage of student interns and advising appointments included in the Business and Finance Program.

This is also a great opportunity to ask questions and gain insights from others. You'll find multiple opportunities to hear about the Business and Finance Program listed on Handshake. You only register for and attend one. We hope to see you at one of the following:

• Thursday, October 19, 5pm
• Monday, October 23, 6pm
• Wednesday, October 25, 7pm
