Do you have plans for making change in the world? Think that further study in graduate school will help prepare you to make a difference in the lives of others through service? If so, the Truman Scholarship and/or the Marshall Scholarship may be just the fellowships to help you on your way. Both awards offer funding and cohort support for emerging leaders and scholars who are also U.S. citizens. Their staff have teamed up to offer a virtual info session introducing the awards, explaining what makes an applicant competitive, and answering your questions. The Truman is open to juniors and the Marshall to seniors or alumni up to two years from graduation. Register at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfvqDZRh4a7F2CJO_SfUgXykBmC5-bXlh6GRDdWhRiQPU9_dQ/viewform?pli=1. You can munch your lunch while taking it all in. After you do, if you want to apply, request an appointment with the Office of Fellowships: https://www.amherst.edu/mm/140249.
