What is Fall Festival?

Established in October 2013, Fall Festival is an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and families to experience the food and activities that are traditional to New England throughout the fall season. This year’s festival will feature an extensive menu of seasonal favorites prepared by Dining Services and local vendors, as well as live music, pumpkin carving, horse-drawn wagon rides, face-painting, caricature artist, lawn games, and more.

Students, faculty, staff, and their families are invited!

Music

Fall Festival will feature live music from The Wildmans, an americana group from Floyd, Virginia, a town in the heart of the Appalachian mountain music tradition and heritage. The Wildmans is a family band featuring the talents of siblings Eli and Aila Wildman on guitar, fiddle, and vocals, joined by banjoist Victor Furtado. Often defined as a smattering of American roots music styles, The Wildmans apply skilled instrumentals and soulful vocals to traditional and original fiddle tunes and songs from Appalachia to create a fresh new sound, pushing the boundaries while carrying the Appalachian music tradition forwards.
