Amherst College notes the passing of Matthew Lee on Friday, Dec. 16, 2011. Lee came to the college in 1999 and worked as a police officer up until the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Catherine, and four daughters, Caylin, Hannah, Emma and Grace.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Grace Episcopal Church in Amherst, with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Amherst. Calling hours will be Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Douglass Funeral Service, Amherst. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribuitions may be sent to the Lee Daughters College Trust Fund, Care Of Catherine Lee/UMass Five College Credit Union, 200 Westgate Center Drive, P.O.
