News & Events Perry Ball (d. 2009)

Amherst College notes the passing of Perry Ball of Haines City, Fla., on Oct. 27, 2009. Ball was a custodian at Amherst from 1965 until his retirement in 1987. Before coming to the college, Ball had been a machine operator at Hampden Specialty  Products in Easthampton, Mass. and a sergeant in the Medical Corps. Mr. Ball's son, Bob, works for the college as lead caretaker of athletic facilities. We invite members of the community to log in and leaves notes and remembrances on this page.
