AMHERST, Mass.—Blair Kamin, the Pulitzer Prize-winning architecture critic at the Chicago Tribune and a 1979 graduate of Amherst College, will speak about "Activist Criticism and the Inescapable Art" on Wednesday, April 12, at 4:15 p.m. in Room 202 of Fayerweather Hall. His talk is free and the public is invited.

Blair Kamin won a Pulitzer Prize in Criticism in 1999, in part for his series of articles supporting the intelligent development of the Chicago lakefront. A collection of his Tribune columns will be published this spring, as will his history of the building and design of the Chicago Tribune Tower.
