AMHERST, Mass.—The Tserma String Quartet will present a concert of chamber works of on Saturday, May 6, at 3 p.m. in Johnson Chapel at Amherst College. The concert is free and open to the public.

The ensemble will play an all Russian program: the First String Quartet (Opus 11) of Tchaikovsky and the String Quartet No. 4 of Shostakovich.

The Tserma Quartet is Amherst’s student string quartet. The players are Christina Schutz ’00 and Emily Greene ’01, violins; Stephen Ruckman ’01, viola; and Jonathan Min ‘01, cello.
