Ellen Louise Hart To Lecture on Emily Dickinson Manuscripts

The talk, titled "Editing in Amherst: The History and Mystery of Emily Dickinson's Manuscripts to Susan Dickinson," is open to the public at no charge.

National Science Foundation Awards Supplemental Grant to Amherst Professors

This grant supports a $239,472 NSF grant awarded in April of this year, bringing the total amount of funding for the collaborative project to $435,367.

Pianist To Perform Benefit Concert for Dickinson Houses

June 1, 2000 Director of Media Relations 413/542-8417 AMHERST, Mass.-Pianist Makiko Takeda-Herms will perform a piano recital to benefit the Evergreens and the Dickinson Homestead on Tuesday, June 13, at 7 p.m. at First Congregational Church in Amherst. The program includes music by Haydn, Chopin, Schumann, and the Japanese composer Masao Endo. A reception will follow. Tickets will be available at the door at $12 for the general public, $10 for senior citizens and students.
