AMHERST, Mass.—The Lighthouse Chamber Players, an acclaimed ensemble of chamber musicians based in New York, will present a special preview performance of Amherst College faculty composer Eric Sawyer?s String Quartet #3 on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. in Buckley Recital Hall. The concert also will include a short introduction of the work by the composer and performers.

The Lighthouse Chamber players are Elizabeth Change and Alexander Yudkovsky, violins; Nardo Poy, viola; and Maureen McDermott, cello. Their performance of "String Quartet #3" at Amherst takes place in advance of the work?s world premiere performance at the Kosciusko Foundation in New York City on February 24 at 8 p.m.
