AMHERST, Mass.-The Amherst College Glee Club will present its annual "Autumn Leaves" concert on Friday, Oct. 24, at 5 p.m. on the balcony of Merrill Science Center. The concert is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

The program will include works by Croce, Taku, Granaham and Dawson, in addition to "The Sukiyaki Song" by Hachidai Nakamura, which the Glee Club performed at Doshisha University during their 2003 tour of Japan.

This year's "Autumn Leaves" will coincide with Amherst's inauguration weekend, welcoming new president Anthony W. Marx, and is only one of a host of events that will be taking place on-campus.

Mallorie Chernin directs the Glee Club, Amherst's oldest singing group; Daniel Leistra '03 is the assistant director. The concert is sponsored by the Amherst College President's Office.
