AMHERST, Mass.—The Amherst College Orchestra will present their annual Cookies and Concertos concert on Thursday, May 8, at 9 p.m. in Buckley Recital Hall in the Arms Music Center at Amherst College.
The hour-long event, conducted by Orchestra Music Director Mark Lane Swanson and Daniel Curtis ’08, will include performances of music by Mozart, Beethoven, Sarasate and Hummel. The concert honors Curtis and fellow Amherst College seniors Benjamin Abelson, David Wong and Angela Choe; all four will be featured performers.
Admission to Cookies and Concertos is open to the public at no charge. Seating is by general admission. There will be an informal reception following the performance.
