AMHERST, Mass.—Joe Belmont and his band of well-known local musicians will hold a concert paying tribute to the fellowship of Wes Montgomery on Sunday, April 19, at 7 p.m. in Buckley Recital Hall in the Arms Music Center at Amherst College. The event is free and open to the public.

The band will feature Amherst College guitar instructor Joe Belmont on guitar, Paul Arslanian on piano, Dave Shapiro on acoustic bass, Claire Arenius on drums, Bruce Diehl on saxophone, and special guest Jason Robinson, also on saxophone. They will be playing a collection of Belmont’s favorite tunes from his years of studying along with the recordings of jazz guitar sensation, Wes Montgomery.
