AMHERST, Mass. – The Amherst College Music Department’s presentation of a concert by tenor Alan Schneider on Friday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. in Buckley Recital Hall in the Arms Music Center at Amherst College has been canceled.
The concert will feature Beethoven’s Schottische Lieder for piano, four solo voices, violin, and cello, and the Vaughan Williams Four Hymns for tenor, piano, and viola. Also on the program are a Wagner Aria, Rienzi’s Prayer, and a selection of Neapolitan songs.
Alan Schneider will be joined by pianist Jill Brunelle, violist Carol Hutter, and two of Schneider’s Amherst College students; soprano Rebecca Eppler-Epstein ’12 and mezzo-soprano Julia Moorman ’11.
