Move-In Day 2015: A Journey Begins for New Students
September 2, 2015
Under a cloudless sky Sept. 1, the 497 newest members of the student body marked the start of the 2015-16 school year when they and their families and friends descended on the College for Orientation. The first-years and transfers were met by an enthusiastic team of faculty, staff and students, who volunteered to lug boxes and furnishings, answer questions and generally help make the newcomers feel at home. One talented group of upperclass students even surprised everyone on the quad with a celebratory dance performance. What follows are just a few photos from the day.
