Commencement 2021 Update

April 1, 2021

Dear Seniors and Families,

I’m writing to follow up on the Commencement message I sent on March 19 with more information about the ceremony. Planning continues, and we will communicate with you again soon as more details become final. We appreciate your understanding and patience; we know you need more answers than we can give at this point.

As you know, events outside of our control could change the plans we are making, even at the last minute, should the course of the virus dictate.

For now, we are looking ahead with optimism. In addition to the information included below, please have a look at the online Commencement 2021 FAQ, which provides more detail and will be updated frequently. We also invite you to an online Commencement Town Hall on Wednesday, April 7 at 8 pm ET, where we will answer more of your questions. Please register in advance to receive login information.

Letter from Biddy Martin About Plans for Commencement 2021

March 19, 2021

Dear Seniors and Families,

I am writing today about our current plans for Commencement 2021, which will take place on Sunday, May 30. We know how important a milestone event it is, and we have worked hard to develop plans for a safe, in-person event that will celebrate your years of hard work, growth, and friendship. Bearing in mind that state regulations and the course of the virus could force us to pull back, I want you to know right away that we intend to hold an outdoor, in-person Commencement that allows each senior to have two guests in attendance.
