What is the Center for Teaching and Learning Resource Library?

The Center for Teaching and Learning Resource Library is a collaboration between the Center for Teaching and Learning and the Library to provide access to books and other resources to promote and support pedagogical development on campus. The resources available in this collection cover a wide range of topics and interests, and are available to all employees of the college.

The Center for Teaching and Learning Resource Library is located outside Riley's office, room 212, Frost Library.

The Resource Library does not require you to check out a book with your Amherst ID; the library is available on the honor system. We request that you take the book, read and study it, and then return it to the shelves when you are finished. If you are interested in a book and cannot find it on the shelves, or if you have feedback on one of the books in the library, please contact Riley Caldwell-O'Keefe at rcaldwellokeefe@amherst.edu or 413-542-5915.

Titles by Topic

The list below details the current titles available in the library. We hope to add more books and resources to the collection in the future, and the intent is to include content and resources that complement trainings and workshops offered on our campus.  (Updated March 1, 2020.)
