The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) help ensure clean air, land and water. MassDEP also oversees the management and recycling of waste materials in the state.
At Amherst, the Office of EH&S ensures that the college followes all MassDEP and EPA regulations to keep our campus clean and safe.
