BYOL Leadership Conversations for Supervisors

This monthly discussion series focuses on topics and questions aimed at helping supervisors and chairs in their supervisory roles. Each session might involve:

  • a mini-discussion including content on a relevant topic
  • a question or topic raised by supervisors wanting additional information or clarity
  • some pre-reading or review of an article to be discussed during the session

The intent will be to share information and expertise, to network and to create an interactive opportunity for supervisors and chairs to engage with each other.

Future topics may include:

  • creating psychological safety on teams and in meetings
  • discussing six qualities of good leaders
  • wanting to improve your team's performance, work on yourself first
  • meeting Fredricka Joyner, the new Director of Organizational Development and Employee Engagement
