Leadership Essentials

An icon of a megaphone Leadership Essentials has been designed, in collaboration with the Office of Inclusive Leadership, to address the skill development needs of front-line supervisors. Ideally, participants will leave the program with:

  • a set of tools and skills that they can use to cultivate a work environment where everyone can thrive and be successful.
  • a clearer understanding of and increased confidence in their role as a leader.
  • increased self-awareness and self-management skills.
  • a strong network of other leaders throughout the Community.

Leadership Essentials is cohort-based and provides a long-term, in-depth development experience.

Leadership Academy

A icon of a person planting a flag on top of a mountain Also designed in collaboration with the Office of Inclusive Leadership, the Leadership Academy focuses on the professional and personal development of established leaders. It will include assessment, one-on-one development plan coaching and an interdisciplinary action learning project. Look for more information regarding the pilot phase to launch in the future.

Supervisory Skill Development

An icon of four people in a circle Supervisors play a critical role in creating a high-engagement work culture. Offerings in this track provide a broad range of skill-development opportunities to increase one’s effectiveness as a leader. These offerings are most relevant to individuals who actively supervise others.
