Effective teams are important for both individuals and organizations.  37% of the participants in a recent study said that working as a part of a team was their primary reason for staying in their job.  In another study, 9 out of 10 executives rated moving to a new organization model based on teams as a top priority.  This session will focus on concepts, tools and skills related to building and sustaining effective teams.

After this session you will be able to:

  • describe the attributes of an effective team.
  • link a team’s work to the priorities of the broader organization.
  • increase team effectiveness by establishing, communicating and reinforcing shared values and norms.
  • understand the key phases of team development and respond accordingly.

This session is designed for anyone who has responsibility for building teams.
