After this workshop you'll:
  • Be able to respond to feelings of stress with exercises and practices that can help you feel better in the moment
  • Understand more about your body's reactions to stress and discomfort
  • Discover a range of techniques to better respond to stress and how it manifests in the physical body
This workshop is open to all staff and faculty and will be tailored to the needs of those who attend. Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in.

About the Presenter

Molly Kitchen (E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP) has been teaching yoga with skill and passion since 2009. Her classes emphasize self-inquiry, somatic exploration and sustainable movement while integrating and honoring yogic philosophy. Using clear alignment instruction, inspiring stories and often a bit of humor, she creates an environment that invites her students to connect with their own curiosity and wisdom. Molly is the founder and director of Adhikara Yoga School, a teacher training program that infuses social justice values into every aspect of the curriculum. She is also the creator of Yoga Consent Cards, which are a simple tool that allows students to choose whether or not they'd like to receive hands-on assists from teachers.
