Prevent burnout and boost wellbeing at home and work
Chronic stress, emotional fatigue, and burnout have a huge impact on mental and physical health, and our ability to stay engaged in our work. This zoom workshop will discuss factors that contribute to stress, fatigue, and burnout, both related to--and independent of--the coronavirus. This session will introduce a range of evidence-based exercises to build resilience and boost happiness. Participants will practice the exercises through writing, reflection, and discussion, and choose the ones that are most suited to your lifestyle and needs.
This session is open to anyone who wants to increase their resilience, engagement, and happiness.
After this session you will be able to:
- Define grit and resilience and understand their impact on professional success, health, and happiness.
- Identify five strategies to build resilience
- Implement one resilience practice in your life
"I just participated in a Resiliency Skills Training class and I found the curriculum engaging, accessible, attainable and deeply empowering. The exercises brought me into a more trusting relationship with my own inner wisdom, truth and belonging. I can't recommend this training enough!"
