We will continue to have a presence at the Science Center during the second week of classes so we can provide quick support, if needed. Next week, faculty who are teaching at the Science Center should contact the Classroom Hotline by dialing 413-542-5069 to receive assistance while using the audio-visual and technology equipment in classrooms. Faculty who are teaching elsewhere on campus should continue to contact the Help Desk at 413-542-2526 or should write to AskIT@amherst.edu for non-emergency technology support, and should contact the Classroom Hotline for technology emergencies in the classroom by dialing 413-542-5069.

We have taken note of every technology issue that was reported or which we noticed. The audio-video contractor will be working over the weekend to address an ongoing list of items we have presented, and we are confident most of the of the audio-video issues that were reported will be addressed by next week. After next week, we will migrate to regular support at the Science Center with a combination of the classroom hotline and the help desk. Please let us know, if you have any questions or concerns.

This Google workbook contains several sheets with information about the work Information Technology is completing at the Science Center. We will keep the list up-to-date as we complete our work.
