- Logical (If-Then-Else) and Error functions
- Time and Date functions
- Lookup functions
- Text functions
- use functions to perform more complex calculations in Excel
- differences between using interactive Excel (clicking one’s way through the ribbon to perform tasks) and programmatic Excel (using functions to automate repetitive tasks)
- using text functions to prepare data that has been imported into Excel or entered in a format that is not immediately usable.
