Setup Function

It is possible to setup aLogin2 using a function provided rather than using the web interface. This is useful if your application has it's own setup script.  That script could collect the information required and then pass the results to the function. To use the aLogin2 setup function, you will need to include the relevant file in the setup for the enclosing web application.

require_once "/path_to_aLogin2_Directory/setup/setupApp.php";

Then you can call the aLogin2 setup function passing the necessary parameters,

aLoginSetup(database_server,
                         database_username,
                         database_password,
                         database_name,
                         path_to_database_library,
                         path_to_config_file,
                         table_prefix,
                         application_name,
                         path_to_application,
                         admin_username,
                         admin_password,
                         path_to_utility_library,
                         admin_email,
                         EXTjs_URL,
                         path_to_aLogin,
                         recaptcha_public_key,
                         recaptcha_private_key,
                         Xajax_URL,
                         defaultLevel
);

All paths should be complete - no relative references. URLs don't require the http:// notation, just the location on the webserver such as "/ext-3.0.3".

The function returns an error message or, if successful, a blank string.
