Set up spam filter in Outlook Web App

How to set up spam filter in Outlook Web App. 

  1. Log into Web Mail ( using Internet Explorer. Firefox and other web browsers access OWA differently and cannot configure Rules. (This also means Mac users must log in through a PC using Internet Explorer.)
  2. Click Rules on the left side of the screen.
  3. Click New, then give the rule a name.
  4. In the "Subject field contains" box, enter {SPAM?}.
  5. In the last section, select "Delete It" if you want the mail to be automatically sent to your Deleted Items folder. Otherwise, click "Move it to the Specified Folder", then click on the "Specified Folder" link to point the spam to another folder.
  6. Click Save and Close at the top of the screen, and you should be all set. This rule will apply to any subsequent spam that you receive.
