Information Technology will be blocking all ICMP (ping) traffic inbound through the external firewall beginning at 7:00 a.m. on October 12, 2017.  This will have no effect on most, if not all, of the campus.  If, however, any individual or department is using ping for monitoring internal devices from external (Internet) sources, this WILL affect those operations.
