How to connect to the AmherstGuest wireless network at Amherst College
Description
The AmherstGuest wireless network lets guests on the Amherst College campus access Amherst network resources and the Internet. AmherstGuest is also the network Amherst College community members will use with devices such as game consoles, streaming devices, smart TVs, personal assistants such as from Amazon and Google, and other wi-fi capable devices that can't connect to eduroam. However, such devices must first be enrolled to use the Amherst College wi-fi network.
Members of the Amherst College community must connect to the eduroam Wifi network from their computers, phones, and tablets.

Getting Started
Guests to campus connecting for the first time should select AmherstGuest from the list of available wireless networks. If a guest registration landing page does not appear automatically once connected, open a browser on your device and go to clearpass.amherst.edu
If your attempts to proceed with device registration at clearpass.amherst.edu result in looping back to clearpass.amherst.edu, email askit@amherst.edu with a brief description of your issue or call the IT Help Desk at 413-542-2526 for assistance.
Amherst College community members (enrolled Students, Faculty, and Staff) with devices that don't connect to eduroam should select AmherstGuest on such devices. However, they must first enroll the device on the network.
