Connect to AmherstGuest

AmherstGuest serves two purposes: To provide WiFi services to campus visitors and to provide network connectivity for devices that can't connect to eduroam. This latter groups includes the Rokus, Chromecasts, Playstations, smart TVs, Echos, and many other devices owned by Amherst students, faculty, and staff.

How to connect to the AmherstGuest wireless network at Amherst College

The AmherstGuest wireless network lets guests on the Amherst College campus access Amherst network resources and the Internet. AmherstGuest is also the network Amherst College community members will use with devices such as game consoles, streaming devices, smart TVs, personal assistants such as from Amazon and Google, and other wi-fi capable devices that can't connect to eduroam. However, such devices must first be enrolled to use the Amherst College wi-fi network.

Members of the Amherst College community must connect to the eduroam Wifi network from their computers, phones, and tablets.
