Tenant Responsibility

Tenants must apply to utility companies on their own for electrical, fuel oil (if tenant pays for his/her oil heat), telephone, and cable services if desired. It generally takes several days from the time of application before service starts. Utility companies may require a deposit prior to servicing the premises.

It is the responsibility of the tenant to put the electric bill into his or her own name and address.
