ACCESSING THE AIM FACULTY PORTAL
If preferred, you can rely on email communications to keep track of student accommodations in your courses. However, to view all of your students’ accommodations collectively and utilize other accommodation features in AIM, you will need to log in to the faculty portal using the instructions below.
Step 1. Log in to the AIM portal. If prompted to sign in, log in with your Amherst ID and password.
Step 2. Read Accessibility Services’ confidentiality guidelines and click ‘Continue to View Student Accommodations’ to acknowledge it. This will grant you access to the list of students in your classes who are requesting accommodations.
Step 3. Click on ‘View’ in the left-hand column to review individual student notification letters and accommodation details for which the student is approved.
