Below you will find some helpful dates if you plan to request accommodations at Amherst.
Student Applications
June 3rd, 2024 - the date you may begin sending supporting documentation for your requested accommodations. Log into the AIM portal using your Amherst email* to submit your student application and upload documentation.
*Amherst email credentials sent in late May.
Housing Accommodations
June 3rd - June 21st, 2024** - Incoming students who would like for housing accommodations to be considered need to submit disability documentation and schedule an interactive meeting no later than June 21st.
June 24th - June 28th, 2024 - Accessibility Services will work with you and your provider for additional medical documentation as needed.
**Housing accommodations requested and approved after June 28th will be considered but cannot be guaranteed for the 24/25 academic year.
Academic Accommodations
August 1st - September 1st, 2024*** - Students who have submitted an application and supporting documentation can schedule an interactive meeting to determine academic accommodations for the fall semester.
***Academic accommodations can be requested at any time during the academic year and will be applied at the time of approval.
