Welcome to the Amherst Community!

Move-In Day for first-year and transfer students is Tuesday, August 28, 2018.

International Students please refer to our Helpful Information for New International Students page.

The following emails were sent to all new first-year students and new transfer students, respectively, on June 1, 2018

If you didn't receive either of these emails (perhaps your high school email account was disabled), do NOT worry since an exact copy of the email is posted above. All important information from the Office of Student Affairs is posted on the web pages referenced below and on the left navigation panel of this page. All future communication from our office will go to your Amherst email account.

All new incoming students (international, transfer, and first-years) need to complete the following forms in order to be a fully registered student at Amherst. Please click on the following links for more information.

AC Data Forms—Deadline: June 15, 2018

AC Data provides Amherst College applicants, students, faculty and staff, as well as friends and family, secure administrative information including advising, student accounts, class lists, grades and more.

Health Forms—Deadline: July 9, 2018

The Health Forms are in the Portable Document Format (PDF), and you must print, complete, and return these forms to Health Services via mail, fax, or as email attachments. These forms are required components of your pre-registration medical file at Amherst College. Massachusetts Law requires up-to-date immunizations or blood tests verifying immunity.

Students who complete all required forms in AC Data will receive another email in late June from the Office of Student Affairs to select their LEAP program and complete their housing questionnaire.  Please check back for further information.
