Install the Corq App to Attend Orientation Events

In an effort to reduce the need for paper schedules and quickly share updates as they occur, we invite all students to access the Orientation schedule online by signing into thehub.amherst.edu with your Amherst login, or by downloading the Corq app on your mobile phone.

Once you have downloaded the Corq App, search and select Amherst College under available campuses. You’ll need to login using your AC Data username and password to view all of the events specific to Orientation.

Many Orientation events and trainings will be collecting attendance records using a mobile phone check-in procedure. Each student has been assigned a unique Event Pass which you will need to download to your smart phone prior to your arrival on campus. To do so follow the steps below:

  1. Download the Corq app on your mobile device and sign-in with your Amherst College username and password.
  2. Open the Corq app menu using the navigation arrow on the left side of the screen and select Event Pass.
  3. You may choose to add your Event Pass QR code to Apple Wallet (not yet available on Android Pay), or save as a screen shot for quick access.

You will need to utilize your Event Pass numerous times throughout Orientation, so please be prepared. If you will not have a smartphone to utilize during Orientation, don’t worry, we will be able to track your attendance using a manual process.
