Ben spent Summer 2014 as an intern at Dinosaur National Park and began a graduate program in Vertebrate Paleontology at the University of Cambridge in Fall 2014, where he earned his M.Phil. supervised by Jennifer Clack. He then earned a second master's degree in Palaeobiology at University of Bristol. In Fall 2016 he started his Ph.D. work in vertebrate paleontology at the University of Chicago under the supervision of Michael Coates.

After graduating, Roger was a dancer with the Louisville Ballet. While dancing professionally, he also worked as an intern - first in biogeochemistry with David Fike's group at Washington University in St. Louis and subsequently with Kristin Bergmann's group at MIT. In Fall 2018 Roger entered a PhD program at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, working with Jacky Austermann.

Catherine earned a M.S. degree in Environmental Management at Yale. Prior to grauate school, Catherine worked on environmental policy issues related to water, forests, climate, and agriculture as a Project Associate at the not-for-profit Meridian Institute, which specializes in multi-stakeholder collaborative problem solving. She currently works as a Sustainability Assistant at Ahlstrom-Munksjö, a specialty fiber company based in Stockholm, Sweden.
