In Geology 109, students are encouraged to think broadly about Climate Change as an issue, starting with the rules of physics and chemistry that govern anthropogenic warming and exploring the history of policy and the social challenges to governance. At the end of the semester, students are given the opportunity to think about how climate change is likely to affect a community that matters to them. Below is some of their work -- a global look at the impacts of climate change from the 2020, 2021, and 2022 classes.
