Want to enjoy a delicious meal with other Amherst students on Thanksgiving day?
The Association of Amherst Students and the Dean of Students Office are pleased to invite all students who are on campus for Thanksgiving day to share a catered meal from the Black Sheep. The menu is as follows: roasted turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, and pies (pumpkin, blueberry, and apple) a la mode. This meal will be served in Lewis-Sebring (the faculty/staff dining commons in Valentine) from approximately 4:00-6:00pm on November 24.
The deadline to register is Wednesday, November 16 at 4:00pm. Please note that we have to have a firm head count for catering purposes. We appreciate your cooperation.
If you are a recipient of grant aid from the college, and you plan to remain on campus during Thanksgiving break, you may be eligible to receive lunch and dinner each day through the Thanksgiving Festivities program sponsored by the Dean of Students Office. This service is offered to a limited number of students, and priority is given to those with the highest financial need. Please note that students who are not on the meal plan are not eligible for these meals. If you would like to apply for this program, fill out this web form by Friday, October 26. You will be notified by November 2 whether or not you are eligible for these meals.
Questions about meals during Thanksgiving may be directed to Jessica Mestre '10 (email@example.com), Student Life Fellow.
Note: This webform is not the meal program application.
If you would like to apply for meals, you must fill out a separate webform located here.
