A New Blend: Frost Library Opens Café

The line snaked from the northwest corner of Frost Library’s first floor almost to the main entrance, the Amherst students, faculty and staff watching as those ahead of them reached the counter, collected what they’d come for and excitedly left the building for their 2 p.m. classes.

AMHERST, Mass.—On Tuesday, April 12, at 4 p.m. in the first-floor periodicals area, Amherst College’s Frost Library will host  a celebration of the publication of A Transforming Vision: Multiethnic fellowship in college and in the Church (Doorlight Publications, 2011), a new book edited by Amherst College Director of Religious Life Paul Sorrentino.

AMHERST, Mass.—On Thursday, Oct. 28, at 4 p.m. in the first-floor Periodicals Area, Amherst College’s Frost Library will host a fall book party recognizing new works by Amherst faculty in the humanities.


Clues in the Exeter Book: A Case History in Manuscript Study

Patrick W. Conner, the Eberly Centennial Professor in English at West Virginia University, will deliver a talk on the Exeter Book of Old English Poetry on Wednesday,  October 27th at 4:30 P.M. in the Periodicals Reading Room of the Robert Frost Library.  This is the third lecture in the Library's series on the History of the Book.
