Spring Recess Opening Weekend: Amherst Newman Club Retreat

SPRING BREAK 2014 Retreat with the Newman Catholic Club. WHAT/WHO: The Newman Club is sponsoring an off-campus retreat over the first weekend of Spring Recess 2014. Our retreat leaders will be Sr. Chris Clark, DHM and Fr. Warren Savage. WHERE: Our retreat site is Kennebunkport, Maine, at the St. Anthony Franciscan Friary and St. Anthony's Franciscan Monastery Estate. Spring Break Festivities 2016

Happy Spring Break!

The Office of Student Affairs will sponsor several social activities to bring together students who remain here.  Vacation can also be a great opportunity to explore your surroundings --- visit parts of the campus you seldom appreciate, cheer on a sports team, or explore the other four schools in the Five College Consortium.

Friday, March 11th : Kick-off event Board games, pizza, drinks, and snacks
7PM to 9PM in the Friedmann Room
(Breakfast Items for the next day will be provided at this event)

Friday, March 11th Saturday, March 12th: Movie Night
Come join us for a screening of the Quentin Tarantino classic, Reservoir Dogs!
7PM to 9:30PM in the Keefe Campus Center

Monday, March 14th: Spring Sanctuary Walk (POSTPONED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER)
1:30PM to 3PM
Meet at Memorial Hill

Tuesday, March 15th : Bowling in Northampton
Limited to 30 students, sign-up sheets at the Kick-off event or email fchan@amherst.edu
6:45PM to 9:00PM in Northampton
Meet at 6:45PM in front of Converse (Don’t forget to bring socks)

Wednesday, March 16th: International Tea Party (All are welcome and invited!)
3PM to 4PM
McCaffrey Room in the Keefe Campus Center

Friday, March 18th & Saturday, March 19th: Movie Night
Screening of Pulp Fiction
7PM to 10PM in the Keefe Campus Center Theatre 
There will be lots of candy, soda, and popcorn
